PROSPECTIVE PASTOR UPDATE
1. As stated, to do our best to protect the identity of the man (since he’s not yet shared this with his church), the man’s name will not be publicized until Sunday, April 19th.
2. The man (and his family) will come “In View of a Call” April 24th-26th (for what “In View of a Call” means, click here and scroll halfway down the blog). Q & A sessions, along with Meet & Greet times will take place Friday & Saturday. The man will preach both services on Sunday morning, as well as Sunday evening. Following the evening service, the church will vote. This is not a “done deal.” God will speak through the Body.
3. Pray as though the very health of BHBC depends on you prayers. Much prayer – much power; Little prayer – little power; No prayer – no power.

“THE KEY TO PRAYER IS SIMPLY PRAYING” (A.W. Tozer)
Reminder: BHBC will be open every Saturday at 5pm (unless notified otherwise) for prayer-walking.
QUOTE(s) of the WEEK
“The heart of salvation is the Cross of Christ. The reason salvation is so easy to obtain is that it cost God so much. The Cross was the place where God and sinful man merged with a tremendous collision and where the way to life was opened. But all the cost and pain of the collision was absorbed by the heart of God.” – Oswald Chambers; My Utmost for His Highest
“Nothing is more dreaded than the national government meddling with religion.” – John Adams, 1812 Letter to Benjamin Rush
In regards to God shielding Moses’ eyes with His own hand to protect him from dying at the exposure to God’s glory Tim Keller says this, “Moses is protected from God by God. That’s the gospel.”
