Preacher: Jason (primary text cited above)
This Wednesday evening, 3/21; 6:30pm; BHBC Worship Center
For anyone still needing clarification or needing to ask a question about the proposed 2018-2019 budget.
The Q & A session – as a large group – will last only 20 minutes so the Wed. evening Revelation study can commence at 6:50pm. Should anyone have further questions after the allotted 20 minutes, Jason will be in the Commons to answer any and all concerns and/or questions.
Pray the Jones – Sunday, March 25th; 5-7pm
In addition to the larger prayer event at Jones/AT&T Stadium, we will host a simultaneous prayer meeting here at BHBC for those who can’t – or prefer not to – attend the event at the stadium. It doesn’t matter where we pray – only that we do. BHBC event is same evening. Same time.
PHYSICAL EVIDENCE SUPPORTING BIBLICAL EVENTS & INDIVIDUALS
I thought this was a wonderful resource for any Christian. As I’ve often stated, the evidence for the Bible being true is overwhelming. This resource is a little lengthy – but a fantastic resource for your files. Access the article here.
PALM SUNDAY: March 25th
This Sunday, 3/25, we will focus on “Friday” – the Cross & the cost God paid to be reconciled to you and me.
From Oswald Chamber’s My Utmost for His Highest:
The heart of salvation is the Cross of Christ. The reason salvation is so easy to obtain is that it cost God so much. The Cross was the place where God and sinful man merged with a tremendous collision and where the way to life was opened. But all the cost and pain of the collision was absorbed by the heart of God.
1 Peter 2:24…
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
In the cross, God didn’t bring the sacrifice. He became the sacrifice.
This week: Chapter 8
After the “parenthesis” of chapter 7, we return to the wrath of God on a rebellious world with the opening of the seventh seal – which includes the seven trumpet judgments. Join me. 6:30pm. BHBC Worship Center. 3/28.

GRACE NOTES: Where Do You Go When You Die?
This is not merely a question of interest within the church community. The question above was the title of an article in Newsweek Magazine recently. I found several statements of great interest – and discovered there is growing mainstream opinion as to the biblical doctrine of life after death. Read the blog here.
